IBIS researches and collects information on academics and librarians in Higher Education and runs a managed email service, through which academic, scientific and educational publishing companies can send the individuals on our database marketing communications on books, journals and other selected products (teaching software, research information) that should be of interest to you.  Each email we send out has a clear opt-out/unsubscribe link on each communication should you want to opt-out at any time.

It always sends an initial notification of our intention to add you to ur database before your details are actually recorded. This email also gives instructions on how to access to your personal record, and provides the facility to amend/edit/update it to make it even more relevant to your needs.

IBIS do not hold personal/private information on you – simply work contact information (mailing address and/or email), job type (whether you’re an academic or librarian) and what subject areas you either teach, research or are responsible for in your library.

The IBIS Worldwide Academic & Library File is part of EMAP (Metropolis Business Publishing)
